چکیده
The technique of spectroscopic ellipsometry is a powerful tool for the characterization optical properties materials. This represents significant refinement over semi-empirical approach to constants determination using BRDF (Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function) measurements finite set grain sizes each mineral. It also allows obtaining, not only constants, but information about dependence response on sample orientation respect illuminating light beam. In this work, we present our experimental derive Martian analogue materials based an infrared technique. We derived gypsum between 750 and 5000 cm−1 (2–13 μm) data obtained with Mueller ellipsometer. Thanks high sensitivity ellipsometric measurements, despite rather complex analysis protocol, results samples show that it possible successfully use direct natural minerals. method discussed here can provide planetary science community laboratory large number minerals (either or synthetic).

Spectro-polarimetric BRDF determination of objects using in-scene calibration materials for polarimetric imagers
For sensing systems that characterize the spectro-polarimetric radiance reaching the camera, the origin of the sensed phenomenology is a complex mixture of sources. While some of these sources do not contribute to the polarimetric signature, many do such as the downwelled sky polarization, the target and background pBRDF(polarimetric bi-directional reflectance distribution function), the upwell...
متن کاملdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Spectro-polarimetric interferometry (SPIN) of magnetic stars
Stellar magnetic fields are usually studied by spectropolarimetric analysis of the Zeeman effect across spectral lines. Such studies are often limited by the net detectable polarization after averaging the small scale magnetic structures over the photospheric disk of the star. In this paper we examine the possibility to use optical long baseline interferometry to overcome this limitation for a ...
متن کاملThe Intrinsic Dimensionality of Spectro-polarimetric Data
The amount of information available in spectro-polarimetric data is estimated. To this end, the intrinsic dimensionality of the data is inferred with the aid of a recently derived estimator based on nearest-neighbor considerations and obtained applying the principle of maximum likelihood. We show in detail that the estimator correctly captures the intrinsic dimension of artificial datasets with...
